    WTB 2015 CBR600 Fairings

    Hi , Having trouble posting new thread regarding wtb so thought i would hi jack this one,

    Need 2015 cbr 600 race glass, preferably somewhere that can paint aswell,

    Any recommendations?

    The blue CBR looks pretty nice as well ...
    On another note a mate of mine got some eBay ones on his gsxr after one session yesterday they nearly caught on fire... The looked a little bit close to the exhaust but f%#k me ...

    Eeep! Did he have the heat shield in correctly? Was there a collector or anything jammed up against it?

    installed as best as possible. The design really was poor, way to close in heaps of locations. They only supplied a tiny price of shield that burnt through where the cat was, It was really just to close even with the shield installed.
    In high sight he should have sent then back, but you know what it's like when you've got a track day booked...
    He's going back to them hopefully get then replaced otherwise he'll need a new belly pan at the least.

    It's tough to avoid contact sometimes. There are some heat-shield tapes out there that fair well under contact.
    Normally the included stuff is really only good for reflecting and as you've seen, conduct heat rather well under contact!
