Here's my 600cc race 2, where I nearly crashed into people twice, and then ran off the track - all on the opening lap!!

Close, wasn't it!!! Heart in my mouth there for a minute (or was it my lunch).

I should've done a slo-mo for Graham's off-track at 3:01. Have a look - through the kink going into Crash Corner, he is fully on the grass/dirt while overtaking me!! I missed a gear going into turn 1, so I had no drive down the back straight, and he closed up on me very quickly. When I was in his situation at other times, I backed off rather than risk being pushed onto the grass, but not the mad Irishman!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAA!!! That's AWESOME at normal speed!! I don't remember that, so apologies if I gave you fright. It was actually pretty close, and the speed difference was rather high! That's Andrew Turner following me through too.

    all good mate.

I felt much safer at my first race (despite the difference) than I ever have at an ECRD or WP ride day especially when I was in the lower groups, racers generally pass safe (if close) in my experience as long as you hold your line
