already checked ride days at PI, nothing till the Monday after the event.

There was talk of a race practice day on the Friday when they were throwing the idea of the event around. Can't see anything on the Motorcycling Vic site about one though so maybe a question to StG.

If there's a race practice, PI itself run it on the Friday (like an ARDC day). You could check with them.

I'll be flying down on the Friday night and will probably hire a car to drive to PI. If anyone else is doing the same I am happy to share to keep costs down.
