    Coolant on slicks, throw away???

A mate of mine had a high side a few days ago at Bernie Hatton, long story short coolant leaked onto his 3 lap old rear.

Is it a throwaway? He was told coolant eats in to the rubber and will stuff the tyre?
I'd be tossing it myself but thought I'd ask the question.

I often get coolant on mine when I am bleeding and/or draining the system and never had an issue
