    Cool 29th December SU day

So the year is coming to a close and a lot of the guys on here have decided to push for the 29th December for a bit of a mix of chrissy joy and a happy new year. Who is in for a bit of practice?

Hmmm tempting... I do have the day off plus it's like the last TD I'll ever do 'cause there's no way I'm paying 335 next year.

Thursday not very likely for me, but I have just asked the question. Would loooooove to do it.

Awesome day!! The heat wasn't as bad as I expected, even though it was 39 all arvo and track temp of 62. Had some trouble starting the racebike, but it eventually came good and we had a cracker of a day!!

Not as bad as expected but still bloody hot. That last session was fun!!!!!'

I have, however decided some level of fitness (any being better than none) is required for 2017.

Fitness is overrated. Fatness is where it's at in 2017.

Yeah but I spoke to Phillby at PI about it once, when he'd lost a lot of weight and then put it back on again, and he said riding the bike fast was MUCH easier when he'd lost the weight.

The 90's version of me 70kg( no matter what i ate) wishes i was riding then.
Was still impressive to see him school the younger lads.

Nothing like seat time for track fitness. I've been semi fit in the past but still fatigue badly at the track due to lengthy spells between days. I'm sure Rob won't mind me saying that someone like himself with generous proportions can still be super fast on track but might struggle doing say a beep test.
Of course combining the two, plenty of track time and and a healthy life style of fitness and diet....win/win.
I struggle with all the above.

Birthday present from the mrs. its Garmin so should connect to my Virb. Should be interesting.

Hmm actually not sure how to take this one...

    1) keen to see my heart rate on videos??
    Or
    2) hint I need to loose 10 kgs.....
