So I've asked ARDC and flagged it with st George to try and get the PP before bikes only. And not have the issues we had in November.
Hopefully shouldn't be a problem if we get the numbers pre registered.
I'll let everyone know once I hear back from ARDC if it's a possibility and what numbers were looking at needing.

    Getting excited about it already...

    Hi Luke,

The 10th February has now changed to a Bike and L2S day so hoping that will give everyone more time on the circuit.

    Hope this helps
    Alex

got this reply from Zara regarding the "only 3 rounds this year?".

    Hi Cameron,

Unfortunately yes, we couldn’t get a date at Phillip Island, nor another suitable date elsewhere.

Interesting I found St George have a booking in the WP calendar for the 27th & 28th May?...could it be for the NSW champs?

    Must be.
Would NSW run the same track two years in a row?

Pretty sure I've been allocated my own garage this year, I can't pit with the likes of you again. To much estrogen for me to deal with....

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Well played mate, looking forward to trying to stay the hell in front of you.

I mean, bastard fast D graders... Protest letter sent.

    Can't wait buddy,
FYI I'm happy for you to push 39s. I seem I perform at my best with you a touch ahead.

Bloody wanker C graders..... I heard though, that all D graders are having a sec taken off each lap to compensate for the additional weight and loss of aerodynamics that the pink vest apply's

I'll come out and play Stu. I've not raced since 2012, so we can wobble around together.
I just need to get the bike ready, get fit and quit the darts by next Saturday.

Final instructions are out. Good to see they've implemented a compromise of my idea to have a D-grade practice start with lights etc at the start of the D-grade only practice session. They are doing a walkthrough instead, which is better than nothing! Also, practice starts are now allowed on the exit of T9 at the end of practice and qualifying sessions. Another of my proposals, and a win for common sense.

So with temps of 44-45 degrees mentioned as being possible this weekend it made me wonder...
What is the heat policy for racing?

I've seen tennis matches at the Australian Open suspended due to high temperatures, same for work sites.

    Same for NRL league games.

Is there a temp cut off for racing at St George this weekend?

I was wondering that very same thing today. What's the highest anybody has raced in?
    Mine would be 38 maybe.

6 hour at Oran park, the last endurance race there , it was 45 to 46 'C the doors blew off the garages and the tower partially fell... was an interesting day for sure, took me ages to recover in more ways than 1

James Spences EC meeting 6-8 years ago at EC +42C - horror weekend for me - rocker cover came loose and put oil all over back of bike (in turn 1) - don't know for sure but this was near the start of my loose "6sec at EC" that lasted over 4 years

Fingers crossed none of them explode and oil down turn one to where-ever the fuck they pull off each other... I mean, pull off the track.
