    R6 build. Yes, an R6!

I might've gone mad, but lately I've been really missing my R6. It's totally probably rose-tinted longings for ye good ol' days, but once it got in my head, it stuck. So this happened today:

    Meet Yoda, the R6.

Much good bits. Looks pretty mint, yeah?

    Looking good!

    This is the only damage:

Ooooh bummer!! Cracked block. This is not uncommon on an R6 with stator cover damage. However, we managed to repair the last one, so stay tuned and let's see how I go with this one!

Speaking of self inflicted pain, this happened today too, but that's another thread:

At least the block doesnt look displaced around the crack on the r6, should be weldable. Low km too

Now if I could only find my flywheel puller from the last time we did this, I'd be on my way. Still planning to give it a run at ARDC next week

Talk about lucky.... just as I start to build an R6, Adam lists all the parts I recommended that he order for his R6 a year ago. What a happy coincidink. Picked them up today: http://tarmactalk.com/forum/showthre...-16-Race-Parts

Forgot pics of the dremel prep, so you'll just have to use your imagination. Almost sorted now. Just a bit of tidying up to go.

Looks like it just needs welding up properly around that lower bolt and dowel hole. Pain in the arse tho
