Howdy folks.

Had an issue at the track on the weekend that I thought I'd pass on to hopefully prevent anyone else losing track time.

My battery went flat on my RSV4 so I charged it during the week and all seemed well. Bike ran fine except for one quirk - it wouldn't rev past 12-13,000rpm in 5th and 6th gear down the straight. I feared the worst but the bike wouldn't start after the last session due to flat battery and talking to a few others it seems if your battery is lagging on a thousand with electronics then this sort of thing can happen.

Anyways, put in the lithium battery today - the enormous weight saving and extra 2,000rpm should mean 300kph down the straight next time right? Right?? 🤥
