Alpinestars airbag suit deployment Video 360d

So at ARDC on Thursday I lost the front at T3, honestly not sure what happened I was only cruising round after doing a practice start. Standard T3 low side I suppose.
My air bag suit inflated and seemed to do its job fantastically. Actually I didn’t realise it had gone off till the LED indicator’s showed one charge used. In the pictures you can see how inflated I am. I happened to have a 360fly camera mounted on the front as I’m looking to improve my race starts. The footage is actually pretty cool.
I woke up Friday morning feeling tops, not sore like after any other off, I’m pretty confident that’s all to do with the airbag.

I’d recommend one to anyone. Check it out.

    Woweee!! That’s amazing footage.
Very reassuring to see how quickly it inflates!!
Good to know that the inflation doen’t knock the wind out of you either

    That. Is. Cooooooool.

I mean, really bad that you crashed, but the airbag deployment was awesome! And the race start was pretty good too!

Bad you crashed! Amazing the suit did what it's designed to do.

Quality product. Just shows why these are the same suits used in motogp and a airbag system is now mandatory in 2018 for motogp

Just fyi, Superbike Source is a Tech-Air dealer (again)!! We are focused on racing and track day customers, unlike MCAS (the only other NSW dealer) who are road focused.

did you notice the shudder through your bars before you went down, the front might have been a bit to firm?

Nope, nothing. I’m really stumped. Actually I haven’t had a good look at the front yet. I’ll check it out in detail this week
