Pretty rough, but good from a distance! You might also notice a little bit of race tape - that was from my brothers off on T3 not coming to grips with my reverse shift. Usually rides a S1000 with 200HP but soon as he gets on something with no electronic aids.......disaster! Haha!

Looks fucken awesome though!! Love the design! I love fluoro on bikes (actually in any situation). I just got some red fluoro on my new suit, but there's hardly any unfortunately. It was still the reason I bought it.

  28. #178
Sure is, and hard as nails against stone chips and general scratches, also cheap if you do it yourself

Not the prettiest but she'll do for the weekend. It's as good as new and very structural now.

A lick of paint next time after the weekend and back to normal

How does the 3m compare to the no name ones??

I'm thinking of getting some because I'm lazy to respray the tank after being taken out.

Still haven't reprinted any of the fairings either...

I bought a roll of the Autotechnica 3D carbon wrap from SCE. It was for my manky tail piece. I can't compare it to 3M ... but the wrap survived my last StG off better than the paintwork.

It was a complete shit to apply if you were after a 'proper job', but with some 'fuck it' cutting and hair dryer bending it came up OKish at close range, and brilliant at 5m away.

From memory Oggy ... AKA Mr RATS did that 400 all over ...

After my 3 month track riding holiday I gotta say I was amazed at how much skill I had lost after almost no track time, and I didn't start with much to begin with!

Combining that with a new bike, loss of fitness from injury, and still not being 100% recovered ... it was a difficult couple of track days ... well not as enjoyable as it use to be.

  48. #198
Yea I didn't do many track days after St George and found I lost heaps of speed and fitness. I did break my PB last week but that was with mupo suspension added, steering damper and new UK Ntec on the rear. And after a days coaching from Damian Cudlin. My point is I think with all that considered I should have shaved at least 2-3 seconds but I only shaved 0.75 of a second off my PB.

The one thing I did gain from my break was fat. 5 kg's of it. FML 😩

Over 4 nights. Mostly allowing stuff to dry and bogging is the most time consuming.

And fuck it I'm gonna wrap it.

Too lazy to prep it properly and repaint it.
