Finally took the Ape to Phillip island last Thurs and Fri.
Loving it so far and so amazed at how much more corner speed i can carry compared to the old blade. Still a bit off my PB but feeling alot better on it now.

Impressive increase. It's fascinating how it's totally identical until 10k. Then the new motor takes off.

They found a giant skid stain down the main frame rails. Had to clean it out

They just txt me saying it's ready, so I called up an said I'll get it next week, as I'm too busy with work ... didn't ask any questions, will talk to em' when I get there.
But, what I do know is, they fixed the rims.

new job sees me doin interstate truckin, but last week I am doin far north coast run nightly, so I'm only home 2 nights a week now

Hey Nick, yeh, that's the rough-ish plan, I'll see if I can ride it in a couple of weeks. I'll try to drop to green for the last couple of sessions to get used to it and see how it goes. Can't wait!

What's the specs?

Cheers Owen, saw it for sale when I had a few too many beers and rum under the belt, decision made for me. It's fairly standard, full system, jet-kit, ignition advancer, quickshifter and a couple of lighter aftermarket bits. Seems to be in pretty good condition though! It's got some toggle switches rather than ignition key, but I'll have to look at your setup again I think.

Picked up the R6 this arvo ... frame was bent pretty bad, you can see lots of areas where they heated up the frame to re-align it.

They fixed the frame, wheels, and swingarm.

Just need another cluster/dash, complete upper an lower triple, complete fairing, and another set of engine crash protectors ... oh and another tank. sheesh, where does it stop!

I believe you can rent them. Renting sounds expensive at first but much cheaper in the long run when you work out maintenance, depreciation, on going issues, storage etc

Hey Cam, i just sold a dash, a 100% perfect tank and a complete front end this last 2 weeks but i do have a full set of Woodcraft engine covers.
I've stopped using the GB cases on everything but the clutch cover. 2 crashes and two casings cracked on impact through the GB cover- oil everywhere
