Thread: What I did today...

I've had this problem on one of the Aprilias. On the RSV4, there's a sensor down near the gear linkage that feeds the gearbox rotational position to the ECU (thus engaged gear). Dunno what the 10R does, but it might be similar.

Yea sounds pretty similar. I'll hopefully pull it off and give it all a bit of a clean and see if that does anything otherwise I suppose I'll be looking for a new one

Checked a rim for straightness.... It looks fine, so back in the bike it goes

had a play at expanding the dent out of the link pipe today with some left over liquid nitrogen (-200o)
the plan was to freeze water from either end towards the middle to where the dent is so it will expand, it's currently in the freezer getting harder, if that doesn't work I'll try compressed air and heating it.

You can also see just how good the case saver chain guard worked

Got the fairings installed and threw some stickers on there.
And installed a woodcraft key delete to free up some space up front.

Put it all back together and now the bikes running rough sounds like a air leak now to pull it back apart again. 😧

Came upon a problem when installing the woodcraft key eliminator one of the plugs would not fit (single pin on the bike and 2 pin on the woodcraft piece) not sure what it does the bike does start its running rough tho sounds as if its sucking air.
