Thread: Hey all

    Hey all

    Im new here.

Got the heads up of this forum from a mate after crashing my bike at EC and writing it off. It would be great to get some advice on how to sell off the old bike (ninja 250r) and progress onto a bigger track bike - possibly r6 or zx6.

Thanks in advance and look forward to learning more about track riding/racing.

    Howdy

Why not turn the 250 into a track bike? And then either sell it or keep riding it for a while. Pics of the damage might be useful. I'm sure some of us can help out with parts and advice.

the bike has a bent front chassis (which holds the headlight and speedo) - can easily be replaced, bend left handlebar, broken left control panel (high beam, indicators), broken left rear set, bent side stand. Then the rest is just cosmetic damage.

Proper job you did there!! Not to worry - it's not a huge fix. Pull all the fairings off first, and then lets have a look.

Welcome! Sorry to hear about your crash

Honestly it looks pretty much ok. New front fairing stay (out of China, cheep cheep) - or you could have a go at straightening it, a new clip on, and you'll probably get away with the subframe as is, although you could straighten that to be close enough without much effort.

Then chuck some raceglass on and you're good to go! We can help with that if you like: http://superbikesource.com.au/produc...-fairings.html
