    Marshy, please don't hate... hahahaha

Well, ebay has another sale going on, this time is 20% off on 5 transaction with a max discount of $200 per transaction. If you buy multiple items of one seller and make it one payment it counts as just one transaction too. SELECT SELLERS ONLY!

    Anyway, here's a link to the T&C's http://pages2.ebay.com.au/Sunday

Whew! At least it's only for a few big retailers. If it included USA motorcycle wreckers again, I'd be in trouble!

In an effort to save leathers and bank accounts everywhere I found these cheapy tank grips on ebay. Have them on the ZX and work just as well as the old stomp grips I had. Plenty of different shapes and sizes.

Some aussie stock end of the year bargains! And even though I still think it's a lot of $ for an action cam, this is the cheapest I've seen a GoPro4 Black by a LOT!

So I'm looking to buy a 8-cell battery (might settle for the 4cell, not sure yet)... the one I usually buy is $150USD. Anyone bought one cheaper recently?

  22. #122
Ed, I've been using Motocell in all my bike builds for ages. They are as good as Shorai but half the price. Local product, local warranty etc (we are a dealer). And depending on the model, they are only about $150 Aussie! Bargain. Muuuuch better than the 'cell' type lithium batteries (that's so old-skool tech now). See: http://www.linkint.com.au/motocell.html

Let me know if you want me to order one. Check the model for your bike and I'll confirm a price.

Hmmm oddly enough I was just reading on the differences between Lithium Ion (what MotoCell uses) and Lithium Polymer (Moty - the one I usually get). They both seem to have their pros and cons but in the end, for my use, it wouldn't make much of difference regardless.

I know for a fact that I can use the 4-cell LiPo on my bike because I had one before and one before that on the R6 and none gave me any headache. Having said that, it seems just about every manufacturer recommends the 8cell for a 4cyl 600cc engine... so I might have been punishing the lil bastard even more than I thought I was by having to recharge it every 3 sessions due to a faulty rectifier.

Anyways, shoot me a price for the Motocell and a weight if possible. I do like the idea of buying local!

Probably. You can join on the spot in store, I think. So it's probably the same.

It sounds very much like they will give the discount to anyone that asks. "I'm a member of my local WRX car club". "No worries Sir; here's your discount".

You can add the promo code SAVE20 at the checkout and it comes down to $79 delivered which is pretty good considering the quality and that it even has a 32mm socket! You may also want to check if you have any credits from previous purchases (i.e. oil and etc) as I had nearly $25 and it made it an even better deal for me.

  49. #149
Whoohoo! I just won a PC5 for the Blade for under $160 delivered.
