This is only the south track. They keep changing the days.
You will need your own generator and shade unless they let the bikes in the garage.

No, I mean ride day etc. they are similiar to practice days anyway. Timing allowed, video allowed, friends can take pics anywhere and relaxed atmosphere. If Rob, Jamie and wait for it Keith want to do St George then they will miss a lot of racing not doing WP.

I just rang SMSP and spoke to Brian Goulding and told him that there are a number of people who are interested in attending the practice day on the 29th March but are wavering as they are not guaranteed cover/power.
I suggested to him that if he could allocate one section of the garage to bikes so that we have 1) Cover and 2) Power, it would mean a lot more people would pre-book for this.
He did NOT commit to doing this at this stage, however, he said it was a good suggestion and that it would definitely be considered.
He asked me to check in with him over the next week or two to see how the requests are progressing.

Can we please have a show of hands from those who would be prepared to pre-book for the day if we are allocated an area in the garage? This will help add weight to the request.

Also, can we also agree to keep equipment to a bare minimum and only keep one bike per rider in the garage on the day.

I spoke to Brian Goulding this morning and his has advised me that they will provide garage space (with power), for the first 15 motorcyclists to book, for $15 each.
I feel this is fair and will be booking my spot asap.

I had a chat to Brian again today regarding reducing the fee and he will discuss it with the SMSP management. I will confirm it tomorrow.
The allocations will go to the first 15 people to book for the day. I have sent my booking minus the garage charge to ensure I get a spot. We *should* be able to sort out garage payments closer to or on the day. I will keep you posted.

Thanks again for taking this on, Bernie. I already sent my form with the $15 added, but hopefully they'll refund the difference if we get a discount. I'm not fussed if it's still $15, TBH, because I simply wouldn't be going at all without it. $15 is a small price to pay for access to shelter and power!
