SMSP Track Days - GP Circuit, Feb 16, 17, 18

This is Sun - Tue. I'm keen to do at least 2 days, anyone else? Mark (red & white R6) is doing 16,17.

Spots in red still available for all 3 days, green is sold out on the Sunday but Mon & Tue still spots available.

Let's do this?!!! I'm gonna take the R6 but think I'll dust off the Pani as well, put the race fairings on, switch to race pattern gearing and see if I can match my R6 lap times.

Let me know guys, I'm keen to do as many days on the GP circuit as possible + ARDC days and minimize the extended track days.

Not that it prolly matters to the anti-Ducati crowd around here but Ducati / Frasers will be there on the 18th. They usually book 2-3 garages & help out with bike setup etc. Craig McMartin is usually there

The V8s are at EC tomorrow? I didn't know they did track days so close to car events. I'm getting pumped to be at track now, 2 more sleeps! Well one sleep then a mini sleep waking up every hour to check if it's time to go yet lol

Not a track day, it's an official test day for the new season. Free entry, last year there was something like 20-30,000 spectaors (it was raining too)... Luckily my ARDC membership entitles me to VIP parking. They use the entire drag strip parking facilities to house the cars, had to walk kms last year to get in! Meanwhile last ASBK meet I went to at EC would be lucky to have had 200 spectators

But forecast for tomorrow is sunshine and I can get up at 7am instead of 4:30am 😄

My mate went out all day Sunday, first track day in about 3 years, on a set of old rains dated as 2006 :o

He did very good considering all that.
