On a trip to Melbourne in January I got a little sidetracked and ended up going to check out a bike. Ended up buying it but had no way of getting it up here.
Long story short a very kind man offered to bring it up with him to BSFOS and I went out this morning to pick it up.
It's an early 80s CB125. Going to race it in superlites at the PCRA rounds this year. It will make it's debut on April 6. Fun!

The Purple Helmets are crazy.
I saw it years ago as it did the rounds of facebook (or actually I think it was pre-facebook and was a joke email attachment - remember those?? I even remember, pre-internet, when everyone send jokes to each other at work via FAX). Then it only took me a couple of minutes to find it again in google images.
That damn photo seared into my brain years ago, and once seen it cannot be unseen. <cold shiver>
