For me, it was the first time back on the bike since my wrist operation and it turned out to be a bit of a struggle. I would only manage 3 or 4 laps and would then pull in and wait for Rachelle to come around and ride with her for the rest of the session to give her some tips. I must say, it is a bit of an experience riding around at the slower pace, getting in the way of the guys that I normally buzz past. lol Sorry if I got in anyone's way, but it was worth it to see the improvement in her lines by the end of the day.

One of the funnier moments of the day was when one of the guys thought he was 'racing' against Leanne when she was riding around with Rachelle and thought that he almost 'had her'. A few of the boys had a bit of a laugh knowing that he obviously didn't know much about her riding. The next session Leanne and I went out for a bit of a play together and by the end of that session he had completely changed his mind about ever trying to race her, after we had flew past him and disappeared into the distance. I can't imagine what he must think when Sean flies past him, as he makes me feel like we're standing still when he flies past us.

I thought the day was a cracker, with very few stoppages and plenty of track time. Well done to the ARDC crew! It was really well run.

Unfortunately, I have had a sore wrist ever since, so it obviously wasn't ready for the hit out. Hopefully it will be feeling a bit better by the long weekend so I can get back out there and do it all again. It was good to catch up with everyone and thanks for making it such a great day.
