    Mate I never buy software never...... But on this 1 occasion I lashed out and put $80 on the credit card and bought Cyberlink Power Director 11

    Its awesome

    Idiot proof

    It gives you heaps of video file format to produce your movie with everything from massive HD formats to little mobile phone formats

    I guess its extremely similar with windows movie maker but with all the bells and whistles

    The latest version of the gopro software (free!), let's you splice together clips, add music and titles. That's enough for most people. It also has a feature to remove the fisheye effect from the footage (only works on 3+ I think)

    LI record in .mov, whereas GP are in ?avi?mp4? - can't remember, but something different anyway. Try converting the .mov into .mp4 using handbrake.

    GoPro=mp4

    Bink and smacker is a great free converting tool its never let me down..... You can even convert videos to jpegs so 50 photos per second (takes ages and lots of memory so make sure the video is short) http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm
