missed race 6 because my radiator sprung a leak, and wasnt fixable ...
searching for new radiator to suit 08 R6.
Best price I found was from BikeBiz Parramatta $290 new

Who was that that went past you at T1 of L2, with different coloured wheels ... looked like Chubb? Couldn't work out which of the front three came off T1 L3?

pissed off i got jump start in race 1 600cc (never jumped the start b4, an thought i should stop an then start again to avoid a penalty). prob should've protested it :sigh:
600cc CS race 1 got a good start, but ran off on last lap, kept position though ;-)

Oh, my bad! I was referring to the 1st 600cc race.

As for protesting, it's useless... 'cause the rule IRRC is that you cannot move before lights go off. Whether you move and stop or not it doesn't make a difference. The reason I'm saying that, is because when I did the RYM a dude that was behind me on the start (no idea how far back) jumped the start by what it felt like more than 1 sec and instead of stopping he kept going... in the end, even with the penalty, he still finished ahead of me 'cause he pretty much got the hole shot and I made a horrible start (for a change).

yea ... I was told at Broadford by chubb or marty (if i remember) that's what u do, if u jump start, keep going regardless.

As long as you move when the red light is on, it's a jump start. Doesn't matter if you stay there for another 5 seconds. It's still a jump start. No protesting.

I just find it a bit unfair seeing as someone can take off 1sec before everyone else and then get the same punishment as someone that just creeped forward... kinda opens the possibility to cheating and that sucks. Then again, I only saw it happen once and maybe they do vary the penalty. On the case I mentioned, the dude got a 10sec penalty which for someone starting behind the second row and getting the hole shot is seriously not enough IMHO.

Well, it was RYM anyway... I'm sure things are more serious on a proper club meeting.

If you get a significant advantage, they will penalise you further. And if it looks in any way deliberate or flagrant, they'll black flag you out of the race.
