    is this new - an ASBK unlimited open support class

    2015 ASBK Class Rules Announced
    Motorcycling Australia (MA) is pleased to release class technical regulations for the 2015 Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK).

    2015 Australian Championship classes will be Superbike; Supersport; Moto3/125GP; and 250/300 Production.

    Technical regulations for ASBK classes are now available online and below.
    Superbike class rules
    Supersport class rules
    Moto3/125GP class rules
    250/300 Production class rules
    In addition to the Australian Championship classes, there will also be an Unlimited national support class with largely open rules for competitors with all types of solo machines above a capacity of 500cc. Additional announcements around MA's support categories will be made in the coming weeks.

    Tyres for all Australian Championship classes will be homologated. A homologated tyre list will be available on the ASBK website in time to come.

    But no rounds in NSW ....

    I missed the question in the title of this thread! This year they ran the class, called EVO, which is their version of Formula OZ. Run what ya brung, pretty much, including 600s and 1000s. It was tops this year! Without it, the two long Superbike races wouldn't be enough for the weekend.
