    Dunlop Slicks- Tyre Pressures

Hey All my first post here so hi

I just want to get your expert opinions on tyre pressures for some Dunlop slicks.
Track is Phillip Island and the temp on Friday is meant to be 19.

The tyres i had fitted the last track day a month ago were and i cant remember what they told me to run
    F- Dunlop Slick- KR448
R- 190/55/17 Dunlop Sportmax GP Racer Slick M

Anyone have much experience with this rubber?

This is what the tyre looked like at the end of my last ride day...any thoughts or does the wear look good?

    Cheers guys

    Alex

On the Dunlops I aim for 32hot front and 17 hot rear. Are they the NTEC rear?

If the rear is the cheap Frenchies about 21hot.

Dunlop Racing recommend 33 PSI hot for the front (31 cold) and 23 PSI hot for the rear (21 cold) for all of their Ntec tyres. This includes the KR slicks, D211-GP Racers and D211-GP-A's.

The exception here is the D212-GP. For this tyre they recommend 33 PSI hot for the front (31 cold) and 17 PSI hot for the rear (15 cold).

So look for your comfort zone starting around those numbers. I only ever do hot pressures.

And some of the fronts work better at 34 or even 35 on a litrebike.
