Adding a manual fan switch to a racebike

Racebikes run hot, and with water only in the radiator to comply with race rules, it's often useful to have the radiator fans come on earlier than the factory setting (103 degrees C on most bikes). Here's how to rig up a switch to turn the fans on - and have them stay on - when needed.

You will need:

• A toggle switch. I use this from Jaycar: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=ST0570. Picture below.
• Some lengths of wire. Hook-up wire from Jaycar: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=WH3001
• Heatshrink is nice to have for a neat job. Guess where from: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=WH5530
• Electrical tape
• Soldering iron
