Who's going? I know Team Zero are going one of the days (I'm trying to find out which). I'm dead keen for at least one and probably two of the days....

Cool!! I'm now booked and paid for the 9th, and wait listed for the 10th and 11th. I don't plan on doing all three days, so I'll just grab whichever second day comes up - assuming one does!!! Fingers x-ed....

Great mate; look forward to seeing you there!

There will be a TARMAC garage, but all will be welcome to attend - yet-to-be members will be encouraged, not excluded! (Remember back to before you were a member of TARMAC, RATs, KSRC etc? Did you find the group by entering a RESERVED garage at the Creek?? I certainly didn't).

Look for the signs, which will be a garage somewhere in the high 30s (36 to 38-ish).

Sounds like a plan to me Rick. I may have my fairings back in time for it. Now just to remember to re register the van...
Other than that my next excursion out will definitely be the 7th June for the ARDC full circuit day.

Are you in for that one BoB ?

    No Broadford for me unfortunately....

I'll try and get out and say Hi over the weekend.

Geez Rob. 8am's a bit fresh isn't it. I thought only Marshy was up at that time of day.
Ohhh, Green group, yeah right.... I'll have to get there early, i've got to get on a 6pm flight so may have to skip the last session.....

tried to call you so you could explain the differences and see whether it's worth the extra $$$..I like the idea that's it's reversible (street/race pattern)
replacement is $280 from QLD or $230 and a 1 month wait from the states

I'm usually first or second in the queue at the gates in the morning, so I doubt anyone will beat me there! But if you do for some reason, just pick a nice big garage in the high 30s. I'll have signs for when I get there.

What was going on out their yesterday???
crashes, oil spills bikes on fire $%^&#@

1 got to do 18 laps at $15 each :-( and most of those were out and in laps.

no more weekend ride days on the long circuit for me! I'd rather loose a days pay and get some decent practice mid week

it was pretty hectic Mark.. sounds like Friday had even more traffic as well...

I had a good day but the traffic didnt allow for consistency across the track so had to work on passing etc...

Red seemed to have a lot of slower peeps in it with some fast racers like Lovett, Snowsill, Lockhart, Morris, Knox etc...

all in all was, enjoyed the day with some mates having a play...

There were only 13 in Red on Thursday! And being the long circuit, it was like having the track to yourself. Very different to Saturday, where there was a full group including two guys that really should've been in yellow, or possibly white. It made overtaking interesting to say the least.

I missed the fireball at old T9 (I was packing up, and wondered why it had gone quiet - apparently everyone had run up to the roof to look), but clearly a case of someone not following proper practice and running tank protectors on an R6. They are known for fireballs, particularly the 06/07, and 08 models. 09 onwards they thickened the tank wall, in addition to the shape change in 08 to reduce the likelihood of splitting the tank.

    Before:

    And after:
