Can look gift horse in the mouth (ie it came with the bike must as well use it)

fitted up them Profibre fairings... a little bit fiddly but it looks like in the end it lines up and does the job. Need to cut out a seat foam for the superbike tail. Also sorted out clipons and brake guard now.

(ignore the messy garage, took photos first then cleaned up)

Nice, I like the profibre on the R1 it makes for easy on/off of side fairing without taking the whole front end off

Farking hell sick of people who can't use tools.

Why does majority think that over-tightening bolts is better than normal torque spec? So many bolts on this bike are over-tightened to the death and this Capital Threads dude is gonna make some good dough with all the bolts he has to drill out.

    Chubb's new steed

Slowly slowly. It's a time consuming process.

Fairings are in paint. Plus getting more seat time on the 27th, 8th & 9th, maybe 15th, 1st and 12th planned so far.

Especially when your calipers have got Brembo written on them. Farrrkk me.

Can i just comment once again on how autocorrect can really have a strange effect on your life......

when i first wrote the above sentence it auto corrected to:

Especially when your clippers have got Brembo written on them. Fairy me......... WTF ?!

Not far from the truth , but still. Yep, Brembo, awesome. now back to Chubb's thread

I still remember that joke from primary school, where the teacher visits a student at home, and when the student answers the door the teacher asks "where are you parents?" and the kid replies "They was in, but they is out now". "They was in!! They is out!!" splutters the teacher angrily. "Where's your grammar"???

"She's in the front room watching TV", the kid replies.

We make these now , you stick the foam to it and attach it to the seat unit, so if you have a tumble and rip the back of the seat off you can just unscrew it or unclick it and fit to the next seat unit

there are many diff thickness density foams to stick on , but yes i do like a cumfy OEM seat pad but am gravitating to the hard seat for a spell (coz i got 1 prepped from when berty punted cliffys for a day) and see how i like it.

I just use the 12mm high density foam to make the seat... not too bad I suppose but like the R6 tried it and still prefer OEM seat..

GB racing covers about to be ordered
