There was virtually no paint left lol. Used a flapper disc to clean up anything nasty which there wasn't much of. Then cleaned it with metal prep spray, 2 coats of brush on POR-15, then 2 coats of rattle can hammertone.

I've had a fair bit of experience with that POR15 stuff back in my muscle car days it's magic

This is how the POR15 looks brushed on.

probably a combination of both Rick. Once the workshop is set up, will be a treat...

They are mick. I grabbed a couple as a back up last year. I only used one for half a day trying to sort some stuff out. I didnt really give it a chance as my head was elsewhere. I have a brand new one there if you are interested.

I wish I could justify it but I already have an eclectic mix of bridgestones, dunlops, pirellis and metzlers to get through first lol

After changing our minds a few times we have decided on weights and bike parking in the shed and setting up the workshop in the double garage. I have just finished laying all the rubber flooring and moving all of the gym gear into the shed, so once I bolt the equipment down it is ready to go. The shed is 10.5 x 6m so it fits the gym and 10 bikes in nicely. It's also going to be awesome to have a whole double garage just for workshop space.

So what about your situation? When is the big move happening?

Let's hope I don't have all the problems you had mate with no rebound out the box! But I have heard good stuff about the ktech gear
