what can $8k get you that you wont have to spend another $8K on ?
It's better getting out there on something that costs 8k than having a 16k bike sitting in the shed cause you can't afford to use it.......
End of the day, any auction bike will cost at least another 4K to setup properly so you're shopping for something around 3K at the auction (+fees and etc)... I'd buy something race ready as it will cost a lot less and it will be ready to ride.
Or... he could do the hardest thing of all and save some more $ for a couple of months and then buy something decent that won't require anything other than consumables.
I have already doubled his budget, and you speak the truth Mr.Ed.
But I think race ready might be the go. He is also lazy lol

Not too long ago I was at bikebiz checking out the 2015 zx10 .. The electronics now on them I'd say looked a step further past the APrc.. I reckon in 2015 all the factory nap bikes have caught up if not overtaken the European bikes... Alot more bang for buck.. But the aprilia still dies it for me.. The power delivery is almost just like an oversize dirt bike .. Doesn't matter if u miss a gear .. Just wind on !!!!
Is the 2011 ZX10r any diff on paper to the 15 apart from steering damper?
I don't know
I think there same sane cept for damper
Nice bit of kit but.. I'd get one for weekend fangs to robbo pie shop
