Kinda related to this thread, but ....

Took my R6 to Craig & Marty on Monday (C&M Motorcycles @ Ingleburn) to get Dyno'd + valve clearances checked + compression test + leak down test. Picked her up yesterday.

    Results are as follows:

Bike was pumping out 113 hp since I owned it
After checking everything else, all was good, no issues whatsoever, no adjustments needed.

After a few runs on the dyno, Craig got it to 118 hp.

Do i sense a widdle jealousy from other R6 owners? lol

And my GSXR750 only read 102HP on the same dyno. No wonder all the R6's would overtake me down the straight.

So i had an awesome 2 days at Phillip Island last Thursday and Friday. Got a new PB and was super stoked...its slow compared to what you guys are doing but i'm happy to make improvements. I wish i could of gone into the 44's like my optimal lap would be but i'm still too inconsistent.

On the friday i could not repeat those times and was almost 2 secs slower. Don't know if it was a more mental thing or the tyres were cooked?

A lil wave to the camera over lukey on a slow lap

Happy days as the bike didn't blow up or break down

MStevo, Zooker and I were down there with perhaps a couple of other mates over the Easter period too...

    PI Grid!.jpg

Managed quite a few 44's myself and got a new PB of a 44.3. Wasn't what I was quite hoping for but I was still pretty happy! I know where to make the time up. More pissed off I threw the bike down the road end of Monday. Just a bar, screen and some fibreglass and it'll be all good again but annoyed at myself for it.

Yep had a pretty good three days down at PI. Had a hip issue so couldn't last a whole session but got down to consistent 46's when I could get some clear track (pretty rare even on a slowpoke 600 :P ). Not quite the PB but know where the time is to be made. Was working a fair bit on body position and made a decent improvement by the end of the 3 days.

Thanks mate, we're all from Canberra but we were in garages 24-26 had 13 of us I think. All casually lounging on the chairs during riders briefing :P

Yep! Bit misleading with my TarmacTalk pic of the old bike still. Wasn't a bad bunch of bikes. My bikes front left of first pic.

Not an instructor or even a fast rider but what really helped me with that was being told to put my right side of the chest on the left side of the tank and vice versa...

It works but it's severely dependent on how comfortable I am on a given corner or not...
