I did actually laugh, but I couldn't quickly find a more accurate image....
I wanted to use the 'I see what you did there' one, but I'd used that just the other day.

This would have been my 1 year track anniversary :(
Might pop out and say hello.
do a burnout
YES!! I'm soooooo tempted to ride NOW, dammit! Against advice, I've just started not using my crutches all the time now around the house, as the foot feels pretty good. The only risk is snapping the bone again before it's properly healed.
I found out what had happened internally, finally. I snapped the large back section of the talus clean off, and there were 5 other breaks of minor bones, hardly worth mentioning. And many bone fragments scattered around, notably in the joint which needed to be removed. A couple of screws to reattach the talus, a bit of scraping out of fragments, and I'm good to go. The moon boot came off over a week ago, and I'm supposed to be moving and rotating everything as much as possible. Just not weight-bearing, so as not to re-break the bones.
All good
Dan, how are you coming along??

Hey that's good to hear Nick. Good to get the low down on exactly what's happened in the ankle.
So silly question ... if you could resist the urge to push it on the track ... and could find a race boot to fit ... you could go out and circulate in white / yellow ... just taken it easy ... ???
But hard to resist the urge to try and go ever faster ... is that part of the reason I find riding on the road so unsatisfying these days ???
