What prompted it? I have wanted to do it for awhile, I figured the time after PI, there wasn't much happening, so the time was there. Plus, I really wanted my bike to look nicer.

I got the fairings cheap, $600 brand new, spent about... between $250 and $300 on paint, thinners, masking tape etc; used my mates compressor/airbrush setup (add $200) add time and money for race numbers... Seriously, I'm hollering for a MARSHY next time I need fairings...
