ECU code reset R6 06+

Does anyone know or can confirm to clear ECU stored codes you can just disconnect the battery for 5 or so minutes or so you need the stock dash to enter diag mode?

it's in the workshop manual if you have one.

I already know how to do it with a stock dash.

Wondering if the disconnect way also works.

I've got a dash you can buy, chubb.... $500 and it's yours. The tabs are broken but.

Seriously though, if you want to borrow it to reset the codes, you can. When are you up next?
