So I've been running this site for a year or so, and I haven't yet received any contributions towards the $600-odd setup costs and the $300-odd a year to run it. I totally don't want to do what rats do and boot people off the site for any form of advertising that competes with their existing paying advertisers, and I don't want to have some strict commercial advertising policy either. To be honest, I really expected someone to say "love the site; I sold stuff through it, so here's $200 towards the site costs (I'm looking at you, Mr Kaneg, and you, Mr Bonamici - although to be fair to Tristan, he does sell everything to TT members at cost, which is kinda what it's all about).Originally Posted by chubb
