Just to have fun and not get hurt. I don't get why you would need any other goals at our level of racing; it's not serious, it's just club racing.

45's is a good starting point. A lot more track time. I've sold the Roadie so i have an excuse for a lot more track days.
First is general fitness and then a twista the wrista a lot more at every opportunity on track.
I realize now that i already have the skills and knowledge necessary to turn the pussy filter off

Number 1 goal for 2015 is to win Clubsport Unlimited. I'm probably gonna have a crack at the BEARS series too, so I'd like to do well in that.

My laptime aim is 34s at the Creek.

you and 6-8 other blokes, as many fast unlimited riders will be dropping into the Clubsport class

Whoever wins Unlimited Clubsport next year will deserve it as they will have ridden extremely well, it will be the class to watch as far as the spectators go

So my goal is to beat Nick ;-)

Well..... if Nick is planning on doing 34's he's going to be 4 seconds fast than current clubsport riders, so it seams logical, whoever can beat Marshy will win next years Clubsport Championship ;-)

Perhaps there was some context missing. I'm doing 36s on the 2013, which is the best handling bike I've ever ridden. The 09 Clubsport bike is miles behind in handling, power, and no electrickery. So even getting to 38s on the 09 is gonna be a challenge!! I'm going to have my work cut out catching you guys that have lots of time on your bikes.

One that mounts the fairing on the frame. Trying to replace all the bolts that have crusted over with salt corrosion from Newcastle air.

Crack 1 min on the south circuit.

Apart from more track time (or any compared to the last year or so) I'd like to think I can get under 1:40 on the PCRA bike on the GP circuit and 1:04s @ WP (1:05s so far). I haven't ridden the GP on the old girl for nearly 2 years and have improved a lot since then, so I'm quietly hopeful.
If I can knock 2 seconds off my best times on the BMW over the next 12 months, which will put me around mid 1:30s I'll be a very happy boy.

I'd like to have a red hot crack at FX Retro D grade. Also to get amongst it with the bucket and see where I sit there. Not too concerned with StG next year but will like to do the 4hr and hopefully be competitive in D grade for that.

And your new bike was on pole!!

After your post, I had a look through the Nov 2014 results for CS Unlimited. MStevo and Rollie were banging out 38s, with our own MStevo now holding the lap record for the class on the GP circuit of a 38.4, IIRC. Roland was only a tenth or two behind. So we will have our work cut out for us catching those guys

A race start when I don't go back 2 grid rows!

The usual lap time improvements. Sub 1.05's at WP, 1.44's EC and 1.46's PI

Would absolutely love too but being Canberra based makes it hard to make it. Wasting all my leave with trips to Phillip Island at the moment . Hoping to take from 3pm off one day and make it up there for one though this year.

We can work on that next time at the track if you like. Just hit me up for some tips

Although please don't ask me about right handers.... my right knee slider is always pristine - until I swap it to the left leg and put the very worn one on the right! Just don't tell anyone, ok?

I find crashing on old 9 then T5 evened up a set of sliders nicely, now they both have wear
Looking at the photos I just don't get my ass off the seat. Compare me to to the other rider and I'm right up on the tank and practically square on the seat. Then there's my upper body being crossed up.

I'm actually considering spending half a day down in green taking it slow. I'll definitely hit you up if your about next track day, going to take a bit to fix up this cluster fuck though lol

Put your armpit on the petrol cap and your head where the wing mirror would be.
That should get you going on a good body position.

Yeah I always gesture toward putting my chin over my forearm, seems to get things in line.
Also, don't ride the bike around the corners, drag it with you. Like pretending you can fly and you're carrying this thing through the corners with you. COME ON LIL BIKE LES' GO THIS WAY. Works in my head at least...
