Was a great day, bombed the Le mans start, had an awesome first stint with 15 laps under my old PB of 1:06.8 putting us nicely up in the class lead by the end of the first stint, close racing all day but Team 59 were just too good by the end of the day checking out in the last hour. Well done fellas!!!!

New PB of 1:06.02 and by the end of the day 2nd in class 5 with a team of D graders and mostly first timers. Still pumped.

Good work guys, we were watching the timing like hawks all day! (I was on team 59)

I'm really proud of our team, we had an excellent team principal (Rancell's wife) and very dedicated support team helping us with pit stops and the pit board (Kelly, Brad, Andrea and Paul). That left the 4 of us to focus on riding as consistently as possible. We didn't make a single mistake all day, everything went like clockwork. We all put alot of effort into getting it right and I'm really proud that it paid off in the end. Rancell (Chubb), Matt (Shippy) and Cam (Metal-Man), you're a great bunch of guys.

Honestly I was a bit nervous coming into the 4 hour, but it turned out to be the most fun i've ever had on a race track without any doubt.

    Cheers
    Marty

That was a fun weekend Some strange things going on but lets say that the crank sensor on my bike was no longer attached after 600CS qualifying and as it wouldnt start, Race 2 I had to grid from 37th !! I couldnt see the lights from that far back haha.. Had a blast coming through and got to 13th over the line. Race 3 made it up to 6th i think, but i was destroying tyres. In the 4 hour i was with Rod and Keith and the boys rode so well, it was a pleasure, it really was. I put a new R10 EVO on the rear and i destroyed that one in 35 minutes !! Certainly need to find out whats going on with the new WP rear shock, I was putting in settings, but wasnt making much difference. Need more time to get it set up. Saying that the bike was strong and the grip was good, very good until i melted it ! Well done to everyone racing and just Awesome riding from Chubb

I sit on the tail piece too, but I don't get those wheelies

Don't forget that chubb weighs 60kg dripping wet, whereas you and I, Stu, are.... ummm.... slightly more portly.

Didn't you know Dan? The bike has an auto-pilot race-win module fitted. All Owen needs to do is hold on!
