They have a long history of poor wording on entry forms. There'll be the usual amount of races.

    Answer received

    "Hi Everyone,

Please accept our apologies for the typo in the Supp Regs for the upcoming Phillip Island round of the Honda RJays Clubman Championship Series on 11th & 12th June - as it is a 2 day meeting there will be 5 rounds not 3.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Forms are in. Only done 2 track days there in 2005 so expecting to be a back marker with the aim of not getting lapped!

My forms are going in tomorrow, never ridden there before, and only been to watch SBK once years ago lol.

    Very excited is an understatement!

Don't tell me it's smoother that Wakefield? I won't know how to ride on it!

  8. #58
You can just bunny-hop the bike like a learner rider, quickly alternating the throttle and brake, and it'll feel like home, bumpy old Wakefield.

I'll give it a go - it sure won't make me any slower than I'm going to be! I'm not even going to bother putting on those lovely fairings I got from you before this one, just in case.

Pity! I'm looking forward to seeing them fitted up. The individual pieces look great, but it's always a bigger impact when they're fitted up

Entry forms in, we have a few spare beds in our place at Cowes if anyone needs a place to stay. Booked from Thursday night till Monday

  13. #63
I'm booked now, too. Is everyone also doing the Friday practice?

  14. #64
Forms in too! The cut off for practice isn't for a month or so. I'm doing it for sure though.

I talked to Craig from WRP on friday and he said he'd be there. Quite possibly on the practice day before hand too.

I have one, changing tyres sucks I have done my share

  21. #71
I'll happily pay $10 and get Craig White to fit the tyres up. I don't trust my abilities with that stuff apart from the fact it would take me over an hour to do it.

  22. #72
^couldn't agree more... then again, I would like to learn to do it even if just to say "I can"

  23. #73
I've seen too many tyres destroyed by people tying to fit them themselves at the track. Even the Dunlop boys have had a few split on them while fitting, especially in winter. At least they will replace the tyre if they stuff it.

Does anyone know the schedule for tomorrow's private practice? PI admin said they were sending a email out, but not seen anything.
All I heard is that gates open at 0800.

No, I didn't get an email either. 8am is a bit later than I'm used but a bit of extra sleep won't hurt!

What an epic track. Soooo much fun, and bloody fast!
Started off very steady, but got into some OK times, getting very close to them 49's.
Tomorrow looking a little damp, but Sunday will be dry an sweet!
It's just a shame it's at the end of the earth!

Freaking carnage. Bikes down everywhere all day. Cold but dry all day and track was grippy. Got a 46 so pretty stoked considering. Managed to pass Carl too which is all that matters :P
