Shit balls, Steve!! Sump to the head is a tough blow!
Glad to hear things are coming back together for you, albeit slowly!
What's the recovery outlook like from now? Back on track anytime soon?
I had a bit of a mishap flat tracking and was hit by another bike and was air lifted to hospital.Fast forward 7 1/2 weeks and I still have some double vision but can see progress and am confident of a full recovery. The helmet was an Arau corsair V and without it or a lesser helmet it could have been a different story. I don't know many details about the actual crash but apparently the other bike ended up with a cracked sump from the impact.

fucken hell Steve sorry to hear mate. I read something about you getting your leathers cut off but didn't realise it was that bad.
Hope you pull up straight mate and glad you were wearing a solid lid.

Thanks for the words guys, it is definitely no fun being injured. It has been pretty amazing watching it correct itself little by little horizontally and vertically and I'm not out of the woods yet . There will be a couple of days where nothing changes and then a bit of improvement. It is like a computer rebooting and the sight that has corrected is as good or better than it was.
I was hoping to do a day on the 25th as a shake down for me and the bike as I haven't tried the cloned ECU yet either.
$5 helmets, on $5 heads!
Great too hear your getting better Steve.
Will be great to catch up soon mate

Thanks Lee and Slow bro.
That helmet took a pounding to crack a mx bike sump. Interesting how the brain works right, look at the bright side, if you hold a whole load of notes in your hand you will think you are richGood to hear of the recovery, be good to see you at the track again soon
