The new race trailer from Fineline Fabrications.

Well after playing Tetris in the back of the ute for way too long, it was time for a race trailer.

After having a good look around, I thought the team at Fineline Fabrications had done some very nice work, so pulled the pin on one of their custom trailer.

Just need to fit-out the inside, with Fraser Fabrications going to help with a few custom parts over Xmas, and it should be good.

not hard mate. Just follow the trailer ... If you wanna reverse straight, follow it, if it goes left, you turn left an vice versa.

Cheers guys. Yeh am very happy with it, had the fridge on all weekend full of cold beer

Next time I am at the track, come over have a look, IMO Fineline built a great product.

I will post a few pics during the internal fit-out, maybe next few week when I get some free time

Thought I would post a few pics of the fit-out, I have been playing with.

First, got myself a pit bull stand to hold the bike while on the move. Had a little drama with the company sending the wrong pins from America, but you get that!

And still room to open the draws!

Next up was some Jerry can holders from Fraser Race Fabrications, very happy with these

Then I wanted to mount the spare wheels without taking up to much room.
I had seen a picture where someone had a pair of spindles coming off the wall.

So time to get on the lathe. Started off with a 50mm bar, and got to work!

And the final product. Still have a lot more little jobs to do, but that's half the fun.

Also, a boy needs his tea

So were the new rods welded to the frame? Trying to see how I could do this on mine. But my frames only about 30mm square tube. Not sure it would support the weight....

But use thicker gauge metal or steel over aluminium, that's what I learnt lol

Hey Leezx10r - How heavy is your trailer? Ball weight, total weight? I emailed Fineline directly and they sent me a few PDF's, but none of them specified the weight.

Hi Row.

Without getting out there tonight it's total weight is ether 540kg or 560kg, & I think they said 80kg ish for ball weight.

It tows very nice, even better with the bike in.
